Daughter of Bert Andrus and Kathryne Wright.

Married Arthur Guy Empey, March 1930; divorced, October 1934;
daughter, actress Marguerite Diane Empey (screen name Diane Webber), born 29 July 1932.

Patricia Archer was raised in California and attended Poly High School in Long Beach, California. She was a winner of a popularity bathing and personality contest, which led to stage work. Patricia appeared in short comedies for Christie Film Company, Incorporated, and in Movietone sound films with Chic Sale at Fox Film Corporation.
