The Venetian Theatre was a neighborhood theatre in north Portland. There may have been another Venetian Theatre located at 113 North Jersey operating in 1925.

Portland’s street numbering changed in 1933. The Venetian was renamed the St. Johns Theatre in 1937.

In 1960, new owners renamed the theatre the Northgate Theatre. In 1983, the theatre became a duplex and returned to the St. Johns Theatre name.
